The Princeville Resort is a 5-stary luxury property located on Pu'u Poa Ridge in the Princeville Resort area on the north shore of Kauai. The resort is terraced along a bluff that faces the famous Hanalei Bay, one of the most spectacular bays in the islands. The sheer natural beauty of the hotel's surroundings will be enough to leave you breathless.

The outdoor swimming pool has three separate spas, a swim up bar and a children's wading pool. You'll also find six tennis courts, two of the top ranked golf courses in the country, the Princeville Ranch & Stables and a shopping center with 37 shops and 3 fine restaurants.

The Princeville Health Club & Spa offers the highest in quality of beauty, fitness and health services with massages, skin care and body treatments with products by Aveda. Other property amenities include concierge, complete pool and beach services, daily cultural demonstrations and complimentary transportation within the Princeville Resort area

The guestrooms at the Princeville Resort are luxurious and spacious (547 sq. feet) with custom designed furniture, original artwork and all the amenities of a 5-star luxury resort. The bathrooms are lavish and include bath robes, oversized bath tubs, adjustable shower heads, music speakers and complimentary Aveda bath products. Prince Junior Suites (820 sq. feet) redefine the concept of luxury with antique furnishings and marble bathrooms.

All rooms are decorated in colors that reflect Hawaii's rainforests, including the red of Ohia flowers, the dark green of Mokihana berries and the yellow of Hawaii's state flower, the hibiscus. Room amenities include bedside control panels, the Lodgenet Movie System, mini bar/entertainment pantry, complimentary in-room safe, coffee/tea maker with complimentary coffee, Sony CD player with alarm clock/radio and a magic mirror that brings the magnificent view of the bay to your bathtub; it can also turn opaque for privacy.

A variety of excellent dining options is located conveniently on-site. La Cascata is a gourmet restaurant that serves flavors of the Mediterranean; Café Hanalei boasts wonderful views and features Hawaii's famous Pacific Rim cuisine; and the oceanfront Beach Restaurant and Pool Bar is a great spot for casual dining.

For a romantic evening, Princeville Resort offers an unforgettable dining experience for two. Imagine an intimate dinner on the beautiful beachside, in a quiet garden setting, on an ocean front terrace, or in a deluxe suite. A chilled bottle of champagne awaits you at your secluded dining spot lit by soft candlelight, along with a romantic four course dinner of your choosing - memories to last you a lifetime.

Note: The Princeville Resort will be closed during it's transformation to The St. Regis Resort, Princeville from September 19, 2008 with a planned reopening under the new brand on April 19, 2009. The newly rebranded resort will be the first St. Regis hotel in Hawaii and will join a select few of the world's luxury resorts to reach the standards of hospitality and elegance that a St. Regis commands.
